Privacy policy

KitMyGear is a content site. We do not have accounts, logins, comment forms, or newsletters, and we set no tracking cookies of our own.

What we collect

• Hosting logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) processes standard request logs - IP address, user agent, requested page - to serve the site and protect it from abuse.
• Anonymous outbound-click counts.When you use a product link (the /go/ addresses), we record which page the click came from, the referring page, and a truncated one-way hash of the browser's user-agent string. No IP address, no cookie, no identifier that can be traced back to you.

Where links take you

Product links lead to retailers such as Amazon. Once you are on their site, their privacy policies apply; as an affiliate, the retailer may attribute your visit to us for commission purposes using their own cookies. See our affiliate disclosure for details.

Data requests

Because we hold no personal data about visitors, there is normally nothing to export or delete. For any privacy question, contact contact@kitmygear.com and we will answer within a reasonable time.
